Do I need to know exactly what I want before the consultation?
No. Simply be ready to tell Elaine about your animal and what inspired you to reach out. She’ll help you explore the possibilities.
Where can portrait sessions take place?
Sessions may take place at Elaine’s farm, your home or farm, a park, a favorite trail, or another meaningful and appropriate location. White Deer Photography primarily serves clients throughout Greater Pittsburgh and surrounding Western Pennsylvania, including Allegheny, Butler, Beaver, Lawrence and Armstrong counties.
Do I need to choose my artwork before the session?
No. Discussing your preferences helps Elaine plan the photographs, but you’ll select your finished portraits after viewing your images.
Is finished artwork included in the session fee?
No. The creative fee covers portrait planning and the photography session. Finished artwork is selected and purchased separately.
What if my dog or horse needs a break?
That’s completely fine. Sessions are designed around the animal’s comfort, with time to pause or adjust whenever needed.
